Nuorgam Finland - Mehamn Norway
The safari continues: discovering the great white planes of the fells in the most extreme terrain of Europe, Ifjord mountains and the Nordkyn peninsula.
Crossing over Ifjord fells, watching the fascinating mountains of this wild and desert region, representative for the Sami districts of Norway.
Heading for the Nordkyn peninsula. Climbing up the mountains again – enyoying the panorama view of the Norwegian fjords. Driving high speed over the long planes of Nordkyn mountains.
Descending down to sealevel again at Hopseidet – the small piece of land that connects the Nordkyn peninsula to the mainland.
Fjords at both sides. Climbing up the mountains at the other side and riding along high speed tracks to Mehamn fishing village.
Arrival at Mehamn, the proudness and home village of our Norwegian guide.
Refuelling snowmobiles. Dinner based on local traditions. Overnight at Adventure Camp Mehamn, in comfortable cottages built on the sea water.

Mehamn – Polmak – Ivalo
Driving across exciting mountains with absolute no vegetation.
Riding snowmobiles over the mountains to Hopseidet, descending down to the sea level, driving over the 600 metres of land that connects Nordkyn Peninsula to the mainland, with panorama view over the two fjords Hopsfjord and Eidsfjord.
Climbing up the Smielv valley to the open high speed endless planes of the Nordkyn Mountain.
Driving down the Valley to Bekkarfjord through the forest area of upper Laggo valley Climbing up the mountain areas
before descending down to lunch place Ifjord guesthouse.
Crossing the remote white Ifjord mountain desert, no vegetation as long as your eye can see!
Driving through the Sámi district, Descending down to Tana valley, driving along the frozen Tana River
to Eastern Tana village by the sea
